Healing in Numbers
Just over two weeks ago, I was in the deepest valley I’ve ever faced. I was so close to making a decision that would have changed my life and the lives of those closest to me forever… By the grace of God, I didn’t. And it’s those very friends that have come to my side to help me out of the valley and have turned my eyes to the mountain top.
My friends have rallied around me and showered me with love, love that I didn’t know existed in human form. I read once that love can be so powerful in the context of relationship, that it can act like a magnet that will pull people towards healing. I know now that this is very very true.
I’ll continue to use this blog to share my struggles and triumphs, but right now I’m using it to share my gratefulness for the people in my life. If you read this, you know exactly who you are. If I hurt or scared you telling you about that night…I’m so sorry. Thankfully, because of your love I’m so driven to make the necessary changes so that September 22nd 2011 would never repeat itself.
I’m so very thankful that God put you all in my life. You have all inspired me to live life to it’s fullest. Thank you!
I’ll leave you with another quote I’ve read in my days that reigns so true right now, “go in love, go with love, go because of love”. May you all know how deeply you’ve influenced my life!
